In a small microwave-safe bowl, place chocolate
chips and shortening. Microwave at HIGH (100%)
1 to 1 ½ minutes, or just until chips are
melted and mixture is smooth when stirred.
Stir in peanuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls into 1-
inch diameter candy or petit four papers.
Allow to set until firm. Store in airtight
container in cool, dry place.
