Chop and cook the onions and set aside. Boil the water and add
ketchup, brown sugar, salt, pepper to the boiling water.
Add vinegar and cooked onions. Bring mixture to a boil.
Mix corn starch with small amounts of water then slowly add corn
starch solution to the water mixture and stir till thick.
Stack cooked burgers vertically in a pan and add sauce. If needed
you can mix more sauce to completely cover burgers.
