     Nana's Mustard Pickles

Ingredients
5 large Cucumber peal and core and cube
4 large Onion
3/4 hand full of Salt
3 C White Sugar
1/2 C Flour
3 T Dry Mustard
1 1/2 t. Tummeric
2 1/2 C Vinegar white
2 C Hot Water
 

Instructions
Cut, core and cube the cucumber. Cut the onions. Mix cucumber, onion, salt and water to cover and soak over night. Next day drain but do not rinse.
Boil the sugar, flour, dry mustard, turmeric, vinegar and hot water. Boil for 5 minutes. Add cucumber mixture and boil till cucumbers are soft.
Bottle using the hot water bath method.
Serving Suggestions
seve on hamburgers and sandwiches.
