     Corn Flake Meringues

Ingredients
4 egg whites
1/8 teaspoon cream of tartar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups cornflakes
 

Instructions
Beat egg whites until frothy. Add cream of tartar and salt. Beat until egg whites form soft peaks. Add sugar gradually 2 tablespoons at a time, beating until glossy after each addition. Add vanilla and beat until mixture forms stiff peaks. Fold in cereal. Drop by rounded tablespoon 2 inches apart on parchment paper on baking sheet.
Bake in a very slow over 275 degrees until firm and lightly browned. 45 minutes to one hour. Cool out of drafts.
