     Grandma Jensen's Sour Milk Chocolate Cake

Ingredients
2 C Sugar
1 C Butter
2 1/2 C Flour
2 t. Baking Soda
1/2 t. Salt
2 Eggs
1/2 C Cocoa
1 C Sour milk. Add 2 T of vinegar to the milk to make it sour
1 C Hot Water
 
1 t. Vanilla

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine the butter and sugar and mix. Add all the other ingredients and mix with a blender. When making the sour milk be sure that the milk and vinegar together equals the 1 C that is needed. Don't use more vinegar than listed (if too much vinegar is used the cake will not look or taste right).
When mixed together pour into a greased and floured 9 x 13 pan. Bake for 30 minutes or until the center springs back when touched.
Note that this recipe does not make good cupcakes for some reason.
