Pick nice apples without blemishes. Leave stems attached. Wash. Place in syrup and bring to a boil just until skins begin to break.

Remove some syrup from the apples and bring to a boil on the stove. Sterilize jars and boil seals and rings.

|
Use a slotted spoon to fill jars with apples. Add 1tsp fruit fresh and 1/4tsp cinnamon to jar. Fill jars almost to top with boiling syrup. Wipe tops with a clean cloth.

Place seal and ring on the jar and wait for the pop.

Heat a jar of apples and serve with a scoop of ice cream and some granola on top.
