     Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
1 lb butter (4 sticks)
1.5 cups white sugar
1.5 cups dark brown sugar
2 tsp vanilla
4 eggs
4 cups flour
5 cups oatmeal (put small amts in blender or food processor & process till consistency of flour)
1 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
 
2 tsp baking soda
2-12 oz (1-24 oz) bag chocolate chips
1 - 8 oz bar Hershey's chocolate (shaved or broken in small pieces)
Instructions
Cream butter, sugars, vanilla and eggs until smooth and creamy. Add flour gradually along with oatmeal, salt,baking powder and baking soda.
Blend Add chocolate chips and chocolate bar. Drop large teaspoons of dough on cookie sheet. Don't crowd.
Bake 375 degrees Fahrenheit and temperature of oven, but don't over-bake.
Let rest on cookies sheets before removing to wire rack.
