     Jambalaya

Ingredients
1 1/2 cups diced cooked ham
1 cup chopped onion
3/4 cup sliced celery
1 medium green pepper, cut in thin strips
1 clove garlic, minced
2 Tbsps. Wesson oil
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can chicken broth
1 (15 oz.) can Hunt's tomato sauce
3/4 cup water
 
1 cup chopped cooked chicken
3/4 cup uncooked rice
2 Tbsps. minced parsley
1 bay leaf
1/4 tsp. leaf thyme
1/4 tsp. Worchestershire sauce
1/8 tsp. cayenne

Instructions
Cook ham, onion, celery, green pepper and garlic in Wesson oil in large skillet ( I would use a pot) until onion is soft. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Cover; simmer 40 minutes, stirring once or twice.
