     Sour Cream Coffee Cake

2 Cups sugar
1 cup butter
2 eggs
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking powder
2 cups flour
1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
2 Tbsp Brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Cream butter and sugar in a mixing bowl. Add eggs, sour cream and vanilla. Beat well.
Add dry ingredients.
Mix filling and put 1/2 of filling in the bottom of a greased tube pan. Pour 1/2 of batter over filling. Repeat filling layer followed by remaining batter.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
