     Creamy Chicken & Potatoes

Ingredients
2 peeled baby carrots
1 ilb. red potatoes
1 sm onion
1 clove garlic
1 cut up chicken 4 ilbs
3 tsp of cornstarch
1 tsp of dried thyme
1 pkg. frozen peas
1/2 heavy or whipping cream
 

Instructions
in 5 to 6 quart slow cooker, combine carrots, potatoes, onion and garlic. Place chicken pieces on top of vegetables in 2 cup liquid measuring cup with fork mix chicken broth cornstarch and thyme 1 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper poour mixture over chicken lid and cook as manufacturer drects on low 8 hours on high for 6 hours
with tongs or slotted spoon tranfer chicken pieces to warm deep platter with slotted spoon transfer vegetables to platter to keep warm stir peas and cream into cooking liquid heat through spoon sauce over chicken and vegatables on platter
