     Chop Suey

Ingredients
2 Pounds Round Steak, cut into large chunks
2 Medium Onions, cut into large chuncks
4 Stalks Celery, cut into large chunks
1 Green Pepper, chopped
2 Beef Bouillon Cubes
5 Cups Water
4 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
1/2 Teaspoon Black Pepper
1 4 Ounce Can Mushrooms, drained
 
1 No. 2 Can LaChoy Chinese Vegetables, drained
1 Small Can Water Chestnuts, drained and sliced
3 Tablespoons Cornstarch
Cooked Rice or Chow Mein Noodles

Instructions
Brown meat. Add onions, celery, green pepper, bouillon cubes, water, soy sauce and black pepper. Cook until tender.
Just before serving, add mushrooms, Chinese vegetables, water chestnuts and cornstarch. Stir until cornstarch is blended in and sauce is thickened and heated.
Serve over cooked rice or Chow Mein Noodles.
