1 Cup Sugar
|
|
1/2 Cup Flour
|
|
1/4 Cup Butter, melted
|
|
1/8 Teaspoon Salt
|
|
2 Eggs, separated (set aside Yolks and Whites)
|
|
2 Lemons, juice and rind
|
|
1 cup Milk
|
|
1 Pie Shell, unbaked
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|

Instructions |
|
|
Cream sugar, flour, salt and melted butter until smooth.
Add egg yolks and beat until smooth.
|
|
|
Add lemon juice and grated rinds and mix well.
|
|
|
Add milk and beat slowly until well-blended.
Beat egg whites until stiff. Gently fold into the the mixture.
|
|
|
Bake pie shell at 350 degrees for 5 minutes.
Pour mixture into pie shell.
Bake pie until mixture is firm.
