     Slow Cooker Spareribs

Ingredients
4 lbs pork spare ribs, cut apart
1/2 tsp salt, and pepper each
1 cup (slightly more) chicken bouillon
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup white vinegar
soy sauce - dash
2 TBSP cornstarch, dissolved in water
1 small onion, diced or grated
1 11oz can mandarin oranges, drained
 
1 med green pepper, cut small chunks

Instructions
400 Night before - place spare ribs in shallow baking pan, salt, pepper and brown in oven 10-15mns. Drain pan liquid and refrigerate overnight.
Next day, place ribs in slow cooker with chicken bouillon, brown sugar, white vinegar, and soy sauce. Set on low 8 hrs.
40 mns before serving, add dissolved cornstarch, sprinkle the diced onions over ribs and turn cooker up HIGH 30 mns
Add oranges, pepper chunks, and with cooker still on HIGH, cook for 5-10 more mins. Serve with rice or noodles
