     Beef Barley Soup

Ingredients
8 cups Beef stock or consomme
1 lb cooked beef - cubes
1 lg potatoe - diced with skin on
1 cup onions - diced
1 cup carrots - diced
1 cup celery - diced
1 cup fresh green beans - diced
1/3 cup barley
1 bay leaf
 
1 cup Burgundy
2 tsp black pepper
2 TBSP butter
3 TBSP flour

Instructions
Combine all but butter and flour, and 1/4 cup of Burgundy. Simmer until veges are cooked
Melt butter, add flour and cook stirring constantly for 7 mns. Pour immediately into the soup. Stir until it is thick and creamy. Then add rest of Burgundy.
