     Wacky Cake

3 cups flour
2 cups sugar
6 Tbsp baking cocoa
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
3/4 cup vegetable oil
2 Tbsp vinegar
2 tsp vanilla
2 cups cold water

This recipe is called Wacky Cake because it uses ingredients you always have on hand; it doesn't need perishables. Preheat oven to 350. Grease 9x13 pan. SIFT dry ingredients together 2-3 times. Make 3 depressions in the dry ingredients. Fill each hold with one of the liquid ingredients. Pour 2 cups of water over everything. Mix with a fork. DO NOT BEAT. Pour into the prepared pan. bake for 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Top will be shiny. Recipe can be cut in half and baked in an 8 or 9 inch square pan.
