Blanch asparagus in boiling water until tender(3-4min) then transfer to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking.
Melt butter in a saucepan and whisk in flour and cook for one minute. Then add the milk and broth, increase the heat to high(boil) while whisking the mixture.
Take pan off the heat and add the dill,lemon juice, zest, and seasonings. Then put asparagus in pan and toss it all together.
