     White Trash

Category   Desserts - Breads
Sub Category   Holiday Dish
Servings   a lot
Preptime   25 minutes

Ingredients
9 cups assorted unsweetened cereals
3 cups salted nuts
2 cups pretzel sticks
2 12oz packages or 4 cups white chocolate chips
Nonpareils, optional

Instructions
Cover a large surface with wax paper. In a large mixing bowl mix together the cereals nuts and pretzels. In a microwavable bowl, melt the white chocolate chips on 70% for 1 minute. Stir. If necessary continue to microwave in 10-15 second increments until melted and smooth.
Stir the chocolate into the cereal mixture until all is well coated. Quickly spread out on the wax paper as thin as you can get it. Once cooled break up and store in air tight bags or bowls.
Cereals such as cheerios and any or all flavors of Chex mix. You can use salted mixed nuts or any nuts of your choice but they must be salted. If you are using non-pareils just sprinkle them on top of the mixture after you pour it on the wax paper. A little color makes it pretty. Do not use decorative sugar, use only non-pareils.
Do not use regular chocolate chips because the brown chips will make the trash look more like, well, you can imagine. This should NOT be frozen.
