     Chicken Pot Pie IX

Ingredients
1 pound skinless boneless chicken breasts halves, cubed
1 cup sliced carrots
1 cup frozen green peas
1/2 cup sliced celery
1/3 cup butter
1/3 cup chopped onion
1/3 cup flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
 
1 potato, peeled and diced
1/4 tsp celery seed
1/2 tsp garlic powder
2 cups chicken broth
1 cup milk or cream
4 deep dish unbaked pie crusts, thawed
1/4 tsp poultry seasoning

Instructions
Sauté chicken pieces in butter until browned. Add celery, onion and carrot and sauté about 5 minutes more. Add rest of butter until bubbly, then add flour and seasonings. Pour in liquid and stir vigorously until well incorporated and thickened. Add rest of veggies.
Pour mixture into 2 deep dish pie shells. Top with other 2 pie shells and seal with a fork around edges. Bake in a preheated 375 degree oven for 45 minutes. Put foil in bottom of oven to catch spills.
