Combine butter and shortening and mix until smooth
Add 2 cups of powdered sugar and mix until smooth
Add vanilla and 1-2 tbsp water/milk and mix until
smooth
Add remaining powdered sugar and mix until smooth.
Add more water/milk is desired
Chocolate- Add 1/2-1/2 cup cocoa and a little more
liquid to make chocolate icing
Peanut Butter- add 3/4 cup of peanut butter
