     Crockpot Mexican Shredded Chicken

Ingredients
4-6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, depending on how much meat you want
1 bottle of salsa of your choice
1 packet taco seasoning (or 1 ½ - 2 tbsp of your own – recipe below)
 

Instructions
Place everything in the crock pot and mix it up good so that the chicken is coated in the salsa/spices
Cook on low for 5-6 hours
Use a fork to shred the chicken (or if you have a hand mixer you can quickly shred the chicken in less time and with less effort)
Homemade Taco Seasoning - 1 tablespoon chili powder - 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder - 1/4 teaspoon onion powder - 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes - 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano - 1/2 teaspoon paprika - 1 and 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin - 1/2 to 1 teaspoon sea salt (more or less to taste) - 1 teaspoon black pepper
