2 packages of Pepperidge Farm Patty Shells, frozen
Instructions
PINS.
You need half inch dowel rods (buy at Lumber
store) cut in 4 inch pieces or several
clothespins.
Season before first use by greasing thoroughly
and baking for 15 minutes at 400 degrees. Wipe
with towel. Let cool.
SHELLS.
2 packages Pepperidge Farm Patty Shells, frozen.
Thaw in refrigerator overnight or about 8 hours.
Roll 2 shells rather thin,a bout 6 inches X 14
inches. Cut into strips 1 half inch wide.
Wind around rods, overlapping and sealing ends.
Place end side down on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 9 to 12 minutes or until light golden brown
at 400 degrees.
Twist and slide from rod onto rack. Let cool.
FILLING.
In large bowl, cream together shortening, butter
(or margarine) and sugar.
Add & beat well, egg white and vanilla.
Add 1 tablespoon at a time, hot milk. Beat after
each tablespoon is added.
Fill with pastry tube.
