     Sour Cream Coffee Cake

1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup shortening - crisco
1 1/4 cup sugar
2 eggs - beaten
1 cup sour cream
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups sifted flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp soda
1 cup chopped nuts
2 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Powdered sugar

Cream butter, shortening, and sugar. Add eggs, sour cream, and vanilla. Beat well and gradually add sifted four, baking powder, and soda. When mixed, place half of batter in buttered fluted or tube pan, angel food cake pan and sprinkle with half of topping. Place rest of dough in top and sprinkle with remaining topping.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour until knife inserted comes out clean. Sprinkle with powdered sugar on top while hot and let cool 15 - 20 minutes before cutting. Freezes well.
