2 1/2 lbs. ground beef, browned with 1/2 to 1 c. chopped onions
32 oz refried beans
32 oz chili beans
32 oz tomato sauce with 16 oz water or tomato juice
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp salt
1 T. sugar
1 T. vinegar
1 T. chili powder
Instructions
Combine all ingredients; simmer until hot, the longer the better, It is really better the second day, after the flavors have had a chance to mingle. Top with grated cheddar cheese, if desired.
