     Grit Souffle

Ingredients
4 c water 1 c grits
Boil until about consistency of Cream of Wheat. Remove from store and add -
1 stick butter or margarine
2 rolls garlic cheese
2 eggs
Salt and pepper to taste
 

Instructions
When all is blended in the kettle, put in a buttered dish and bake at 325°for 45 minutes. You can use bacon cheese rolls or pimento for variety. For added flavor, top with shredded cheddar. I always give it a stir at about 15 minutes. Note- This is a terrific potato substitute and I've had lots of compliments on it, especially from cheese lovers.
