Chop and saute the onion in saucepan with butter, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. When cooked, transfer evenly across 6 muffin tins.
Crack 1 egg on top of the onions into each muffin tin. Slice the cherry tomatoes in half and add one half to each egg. Add 1/2 tsp. soft cheese to each tin. Pepper to taste.
Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes.
