1 pound lean ground beef
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1/2 cup minced bell pepper
1 clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes, drained
1/3 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Serving Suggestions
We just cooked filling in a 9x13 pan. There was too much filling to fill shells.
