     Maddy’s Apple Crisp

6 or 7 Granny Smith apples
1/2 cup sugar
2 Tablespoons of water
1 1/2 cups flour
1 cup oats
1/4 cup white sugar
3/4 cups brown sugar
1 cup butter

Peel, core, and slice apples and fill the bottom of a 9x13 pan. Stir in 1/2 cup sugar and the water.
Mix together flour, oats, 1/4 sugar and 3/4 cups brown sugar. Cut in butter until pea size. Crumble this mixture over apples.
Bake at 350 for 50 minutes. Serve with ice cream and cream.
