1/2 Cup dry macaroni
|
|
1 small red pepper
|
|
3/4 Cup onion
|
|
3 cloves of garlic, minced
|
|
1-2 diced jalapeno peppers (optional)
|
|
1 tsp. oregano
|
|
3 oz. cheddar cheese
|
|
1 lb. lean ground meat
|
|
14 oz. can diced tomatoes, undrained. (I prefer the ones with garlic, oregano or other flavorings)

1 tsp. thyme leaves
|
|
1/4 tsp. salt
|
|
1/4 tsp. pepper
|
|
Frozen corn (optional)

Instructions |

|
In electric frypan brown the meat with red pepper, onion, and garlic.
About 15 minutes. Drain fat if necessary.

Add tomatoes, salt and pepper, oregano, and macaroni. Sprinkle with
cheese. Cover and cook until cheese is melted.

|
NOTE- The original recipe was a bit bland. I added jalapeños and
oregano. Basil or spaghetti seasoning would work as well.
