     Oatmeal Bread

1/3 c. molasses
1 c. oatmeal
2 c. boiling water
1/2 T. yeast
1/8 c. warm water
1 T. sugar
1/2 T. salt
1/2 T. oil
3/4 c. flour

Mix molasses and oatmeal together in a large bowl. Pour boiling water over and mix. Let stand until lukewarm, stir occasionally. Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add yeast and all other ingredients except flour. Start adding flour 1/2 cups at a time. Mix until no longer sticky. Knead and put in greased bowl. to rise 2 hours. Divide into 2 loaves and put in pans. Let rise again 1 hour. Bake 375 for 35 mins.
