     Peach Cobbler

Ingredients
1/2 cup butter, melted
2 cans peaches
1 1/4 cup sugar, divided
1 cup flour
1 cup milk
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
 

Instructions
Pour butter into a 9x13 pan, set aside.
Drain peaches reserving 1/4 cup juice. In saucepan bring the peaches and juice just to a boil.
In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup sugar, flour, milk, baking powder and salt. Pour this batter over the butter in the baking dish. Spoon hot peach mixture over batter.
Sprinkle with remaining sugar. Bake at 400 for 25 minutes. Serve warm.
Serving Suggestions
Serve with ice cream and cream.
