     Onion Corn Bread

1 small onion, minced
.25 cup butter or margarine
1.5 cup corn muffin mix (or one Jiffy mix)
1 egg, beaten
.33 cup milk
1 can cream style corn
2 drops of Tabasco
1 cup sour cream
.25 teaspoon salt
.25 teaspoon dill weed
1 cup grated dheese

Saute onions in butter and set aside. Combine muffin mix, egg, milk, corn and Tabasco and place in greased 8 inch square pan.
Mix in saucepan with sauteed onions and butter, sour cream, salt, dill, .50 cup cheese. Spread over corn batter, sprinkle with remaining cheese.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 35 to 40 minutes.
For an alternate recipe use creamed mushrooms instead of creamed corn, oregano and thyme instead of dill and raclette cheese.
Serving Suggestions
Serve as a side dish.
