2 TEA BAKING POWDER
1/2 TSP SALT
3/4 CUP MILK
1/4 CUP MELTED BUTTER DIVIDED
1 TSP VANILLA EXTRACT
1 1/2 CUP WATER
 

Instructions
OVEN 375 SIFT TOGETHER FLOUR 3/4 CUP SUGAR AND COCOA AND BAKING POWDER AND SALT IN LARGE BOWL. ADD MILK AND 3 TABLESPOONS BUTTER AND VANILLA STIR TILL SMOOTH SET ASIDE COMBINE 1 1/2 CUP SUGAR AND WATER IN SMALL SAUCE BRING TO A BOIL STIR TO DISSOLVE WATER REMOVE FROM HEAT PLACE A 10 INCH CAST IRON SKILET IN A 375 OVEN FOR 15 MINUTES PLACE 1 TABLESPOON MELTED BUTTER IN PREHEATED PAN COAT THE PAN ADD BATTER AND SPREAD EVENLY POUR WATER MIXTRUE SLOWLY OVER BATTER DO NOT STIR BATTER WILL BUBBLE BKAE 28 MINUTES TILL CAKE IS SET LET STAND 10 MINUTES BEFORE SERVING SERVES 8 ADD ICE CREAM
