Grease muffin pan or use paper cups OR oven safe mugs - grease bottom and sides.
Combine flour, spices, baking soda and b. powder.
Beat butter for 30 sec. Add brown sugar, beat until fluffy. Add egg and molasses. Beat 1 mn. Add flour and water alternately to egg mixture, beating on low speed.
