2 tsp cornstarch added to 1/4 cup of water (this is the thickener)
2 tsp of sugar
3 tsp of soya sauce
1/2 large spanish onion diced
vegetable oil for frying the beef
1/2 cup water
Instructions
In a Wok or deep frying pan place 3-4 tsp of oil and 1/2 tsp of salt.
Lightly brown the meat. Add the celery and onions. Cook for a few
minutes. Add the soya sauce, sugar, salt and water.
Cover and cook for 5 minutes. Add the tomatoes
Add the cornstarch and water mixture slowly. Stirring while adding so
it doesn't clump. ( You may not need it all)
Bring mixture to a boil. Add more cornstarch if needed.
Add 2 drops of sesame oil
Serve over rice
