Mix together these ingredients. Put 3/4 of the mixture into a pan, 7x11. Do not grease the pan. Press it in to make the crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.

Sprinkle the crust with 1 cup chocolate chips and 1 cup salted peanuts.

|
In a double boiler, melt a 14 oz bag of caramels. They are individually wrapped. Add 3 Tbs milk to help with the melting. Keep stirring so mixture doesn't stick to pot.

|
Pour over the nut, chocolate mixture in pan. Sprinkle the rest of the crust mixture over the top. It should crumble. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

Let cool for a couple of hours or longer. Take out of pan to cut into squares. Do not refrigerate.
