Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a 12-cup muffin pan with cupcake liners Set aside.

In medium bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt.
|
|
|
In another bowl, mix together the wet ingredients and nuts. Combine with the dry ingredients and mix thoroughly.
|
|
|
Fill batter into muffin tin, filling each cup 3/4 full. Bake for 25 minutes. A toothpick inserted into a muffin should come out clean.

Remove cupcakes from tin and cool on wire rack.
