1/2 c butter or marg

cream together with

1/2 c br sugar

1/2 c white sugar

Combine and beat in
|

1 egg
|

1 tsp vanilla
|

1 T milk

| |
Sift together and add into the above
|

1 c flour sifted all purpose
|

1/2 tsp baking soda
|
| |
1/2 tsp baking powder
|
| |
1/2 tsp salt
|
| |
When beaten smooth add 1 c quick oats or wheat flakes
|

Stir in one of the following.
|

3/4 c choc chips or 1/2 c raisins
|
