Whisk together flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt.
In a large bowl beat together butter and sugars.
Add Egg and vanilla and mix until combined.

Slowly mix in dry ingredients on low speed until incorporated.
Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.

Cover with cling wrap and chill for at least 2 hours.
When ready to bake, preheat oven to 350, take dough out of refrigerator and let it warm up for 10-15 minutes.

Form dough into balls 2-3 tbsps. in size and flatten slightly. Place 2 inches apart on baking sheet lined with parchment.
Bake cookies 10-12 mins until tops are just set. Remove from oven and let cool on tray for 5 mins before transferring to a wire rack.
