     Strawberry Pretzel Salad

2 cups crushed pretzels (coarsely crumbled)
3/4 Cup butter melted
3 T white sugar
8oz cream cheese softened
1 cup white sugar
8 oz cool whip
2 (3 oz) pkg strawberry jello
2 cups boiling water
2 10 oz frozen strawberries w/ sugar

Preheat oven to 400
Stir together crushed pretzels, melted butter and 3T sug. Mix well and press mixture into the bottom of 9X13 dish Bake 8-10 min until set. Set aside until cool.
In large mixing bowl cream together cream cheese and 1 cup sugar. Fold in whipped topping. Spread over cooled crust. Make sure to completely seal edges over the crust.
Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Stir in still frozen strawberries and allow to set briefly. When mixture is about the consistency of egg whites, pour and spread over cream cheese layer. Refrigerate until set.
Serving Suggestions
You can top with more cool whip. This can also be frozen- better if frozen without the extra cool whip on top.
