Heat oven to 425°. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
In large bowl mix together flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut
in butter and shortening until particles are the size of peas. Stir
lavender into flour mixture. Add buttermilk and mix gently to
form a soft dough.
Turn dough onto floured board and knead 3-4 times. Roll
dough to 1” thickness. Cut dough for biscuits, place biscuits on

Bake 10-12 minutes
