     Almost No Fat Banana Bread

1-1/2 cups flour
3/4 cup sugar
1-1/4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp salt
2 egg whites
2 tsp vanilla
1/3 cup applesauce
1 cup mashed banana

Preheat oven to 350. Lightly great a 8 x 4 inch loaf pan.
In a large bowl, stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Add egg whites, banana, vanilla, and applesauce. Stir until just combined. Pour batter into prepared pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 50 to 55 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean. Turn out onto wire rack and allow to cool before slicing.
