Ingredients
3lbs ground pork is about 1450 grams
2 medium onions chopped
3 grated carrots
Spices
Basil 1 tablespoon
Garlic powder 1 to 2 tbsp depending on your love of garlic
Parsley 1 tablespoon
Oregano 2 teaspoons
Bread crumbs start with a 1/4 cup at a time then add enough as needed to thicken
 
salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
Brown the onions and remove from the pan Cook the pork until not pink. Remove extra fat drippings from the pan by draining in the Colander Add all ingredients into a pot and add enough water to cover Add the seasonings As it cooks remove the fat that is on the top Simmer 30-45mintues Thicken with bread crumbs Add salt and pepper to taste
Fill tart shells or 9-inch pie shells or homemade tarts precooked in muffin tins. Bake in oven for about 6-8 minutes.
Recipe makes almost 4 meat pies
