     HardTimes Veggie Chili

Ingredients
3 1/2 cup tomatoes sauce
3 oz tomato paste
1 green pepper, diced
1 jalapeno, diced
1 onion, diced
2 tsp salt
1/3 cup chili powder
1/4 lb diced mushrooms (optional)
1 tbsp cumin
 
1 tbsp crushed red pepper
2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp oregano leaves
1/8 tsp ground allspice
1/4 cup water
1 cup textured vegetable protein (can use veg crumbles or Impossible meat)
2 tbsp dry roasted peanuts

Instructions
Place all ingredients except peanuts in a large pot/slow cooker/instant pot.
Brint to a simmer. Cover and simmer for about 2 hours.
Add peanuts before serving.
Serving Suggestions
If you want enough for guests or to have for the week, double the recipe.
