     Crazy Caramel Apple Pie Bombs

Ingredients
12 frozen white dinner rolls, uncooked
2 medium apples (suggest Gala)
1T. Cinnamon
2 T. sugar
.30 vanilla caramels (or use caramel baking chips/balls)
2T. unsalted butter, melted
1/4 c. Brown sugar
2 T. Heavy cream
Flour for dusting
 

Instructions
Set oven to 350. Place dinner rolls on microwave safe plate and microwave on defrost for about 2 minutes. You want dough not frozen, but not cooked. Butter a small casserole dish (9 inch x 6 inch) and set aside.
Peel, core and dice apples. Dice the apples into very small pieces. Place the apples into a medium bowl. Add sugar and cinnamon. Todd to coat. Set aside. If using caramels, unwrap and cut 18 caramels into quarters. Set aside. Lightly flour countertop. Toss one piece of dough in flour. Flatten, stretch dough like a mini pizza - into a 3 inch diameter. Reserve 1/4 c. Of the Apple mixture
Add 1 T. Of the Apple mixture and 6 pieces of the cut up caramels to the dough. Pull edges of dough together and deal the dough. Place balls seam side down in dish. Repeat with each piece of dough. Brush the dough balls with melted butter (use it all). Sprinkle with reserved Apple mixture and Brown sugar.
Bake for 30-35 minutes until told are golden brown and pies are not doughy. Place remaining 12 caramels in microwave safe dish with cream. Heat until melted, stirring every 30 seconds. Once smooth, set aside to cool. Remove pies from oven and drizzle with caramel sauce.
