5 Russet potatoes boiled and mashed with 1 Tbl milk.
2, 1 oz envelopes brown gravy mix
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. onion powder
12 oz frozen sliced carrots (I used mixed frozen mixed veggies)
12 oz. frozen peas (not thawed)
10.5 oz cream of mushroom soup
Paprika - optional
Instructions
Brown the beef and onion together. Drain. Boil the potatoes, drain and mash with 1 Tbl. milk. and paprika if using.
Mix together the beef mixture, brown gravy mix, garlic and onion powder, carrots, peas and soup.
Spray the crockpot with Pam. Pour beef mixture into crockpot, spoon mashed potatoes on top and spread evenly. Cover and cook on high 4 hours and low 8 hours. (I think this timing is too long.)
Next time try 1 tsp. thyme, 1 stalk celery, 1/4 tsp. dried rosemary. To potatoes add 4 Tbl.butter, 1/2 Cup sour cream, 1 Cup shredded white cheddar cheese.
