     Bacon and Swiss Cheese Strata

12 Slices white bread trimmed
1 lb. Swiss Cheese grated
8 oz. fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 - 2 cups crumbled fried bacon, crisp
2 cups milk
6 eggs
1 tea. Beau Monde seasoning (lemon pepper)
1 tea. Worshtershire sauce
2 tea. prepared mustard
dash of season salt

Melt butter and pour over bread. Place in greased 10 x 15 inch baking dish. Layer the cheese, mushrooms and bacon over the bread. Combine the milk, eggs, and seasonings in a bowl and mix well. Pour over the layers. Chill for 8-12 hours. REMOVE from fridge 1 hour before baking. Bake uncovered at 325 for 1 hour. Let stand 15 minutes before serving.
