     Grandma's Fast French Bread

2 T. Yeast
2 1/2 C. Warm Water
3 T. Sugar
2 t. Salt
1/2 C. Oil
6 C. Better for Bread Flour - Not sure if it matters if it is Better For Bread or regular flour
Cornmeal, if desired
Sesame Seeds, if desired

Whip 100 strokes the yeast, warm water, sugar, salt, oil, and 2 C. flour. Add 4 C. flour and stir till well blended. Leave spoon in dough and let rise 1 hour stirring down every 10 minutes. Divide dough in 2 pieces and pat out on floured board to desired length - dough is very soft. Roll up like a jelly roll. Place on greased cookie sheet - dusted with cornmeal if desired sealed side down. Slit tops diagonally - sprinkle with seeds if desired. Let rise about 30 minutes. Bake at 400 degrees 25-30 minutes. Bet you can't keep from eating a whole loaf in one sitting!
