2 cups gluten free all purpose flour
1/2 tsp xanthan gum (leave out if your flour already has)
1 tsp salt
2 Tbsp sugar
1 cup buttermilk (add 1 tbsp lemon or vinegar to almond or rice milk)
6 Tbsp butter
1 large egg (or egg replacer)

Whisk together dry ingredients. Cut in butter. Then add prepared buttermilk and egg replacer. Mix just until blended. Cut biscuits out on lightly floured surface and bake for about 10 min at 450.
