     Resurrection Rolls for Easter

Category   Breakfast - Brunch
Sub Category   None

Ingredients
Rhodes Frozen Rolls
Large Marshmellows
melted butter
cinnamon sugar

Instructions
There was a variety of ways to do this, but this worked well in 2020. I put the frozen rolls on a pan covered with plastic wrap to thaw all night. In the morning, I flattened the dough, making the edges thinner. Put the marshmellow in the center and then seal the dough. Let rise for a couple hours. (Put it in the frig to slow the process if you want it to be for later in the day) Make 13-15 mins. They were perfect in 2020!
In 2022 at Don's, we tried some different things. I thawed the dough then flattened it. I used a fork to dip the marshmallow in melted butter and cinnamon/sugar. Then pinch the dough. Hold onto the pinch part, dip the top of the bread in melted butter and then cinnamon sugar. I put them in greased muffin pans. That worked well. The marshmellow oozed out so be sure to put aluminum foil on the rack below the pan. I let it rise a few hours and then baked it in the evening. I warmed them up right before the noon meal. Amanda let it rise then put it in the refrigerator and then baked them in the morning. She said it worked well. I tried a creseant roll recipe, but it didn't work very well.
