     Pickled Red Onions

Ingredients
3 red onions
4 dl vinegar
1 dl sugar
10-20 pepper corns
 

Instructions
Clean glass jar(s)using boiling water. Pour sugar and vinegar into a bowl and stir until all the sugar is dissolved. Slice the onions and put them into the glass jar(s). Pour the vinegar/sugar mixture into the jar(s) and add some pepper corns. Place jar(s) in the fridge for a couple of hours before serving. Keep jar(s) refrigerated.
Serving Suggestions
Serve as topping for burgers, hotdogs or as a side dish for pork or beef.
